Do yourself and your stylish heels a favour…wear flats. Nothing is worse than accidentally aerating someones vineyard with the tips of your heels, making walking a challenge and reeking havoc on your shoes (not to mention it will have people questioning how many tastings you have enjoyed that day!!).

Skiing in Jeans
While we encourage everyone out there to strap on some boards (or board depending on your preference), we also STRONGLY encourage you to get your mitt’s on the proper gear to go with it.
Now I know that there are a lot of people out there that are guilty of skiing in jeans (not sure why but we don’t judge…much). You will find these guilty few in the lodge at around 1 pm, shivering, wet and the color blue.
Not worth the full day lift pass my friends.
Lesson of the day: get some good gear to keep you warm and dry… so you can keep warm and dry while looking cool (like us)

Our new mantra in the office lately has been “come on snow”. That’s because we are officially getting ready for the winter season. And just in time if you ask me. Once Halloween is done our thoughts turn to our Skis and Snowboards and how much fun it’s going to be this year with epic snow! (Can you see the north shore mountains from where you are? Wahoo).
This season is also going to bring more “Theme” weekends than ever before! What is a theme weekend? That my friend is a great question. They are regular old ski weekends with a twist, you must dress in theme at our party with prizes for the best dressed.
Some weekends are:
December 3-5 to Big White (80’s Theme) and season opener for Destination Snow
January 14-16 to Big White (80’s Theme) and now on SALE!
January 15-17 to Whistler (Hawaiian Theme) departing from the US

We have added a new Wine and Steam Train tour this summer. If you have missed out on our other Wine and Steam train tours this summer you may be in luck! October 8-10, 2010 we will be running one more Wine and Steam Train tour.
Most of the details have remained the same with one exception. .. we have changed hotel locations. With this tour we will be staying at the Sandman Inn, Penticton.
